Protmex Portable 4-in-1 Carbon Monoxide and CO2 Monitor
I recently tested the Protmex Portable 4-in-1 Carbon Monoxide Detector during a week of traveling and office-based work to see if it lived up to its reputation. This tiny device packs both CO and CO2 sensing capabilities into a footprint small enough to fit in a pocket, making it a versatile tool for anyone concerned about indoor air quality.
Performance & Build Quality
The device feels surprisingly robust for its size, featuring a clean aesthetic that doesn't scream industrial equipment. The magnetic suction is a standout feature, allowing for secure mounting on metal surfaces, while the build quality suggests it can withstand the rigors of being tossed into a gear bag.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the detector is incredibly straightforward; the Type-C charging makes it easy to keep topped up alongside other modern electronics. I found the real-time readings to be responsive, and the audible alarm is loud enough to be effective without being overly disruptive.
This is the perfect companion for frequent travelers, remote workers, or anyone spending time in older buildings who wants to monitor their immediate air safety.
Final Thoughts
With an impressive 4.92/5 rating, the Protmex 4-in-1 detector proves that you don't need a bulky device to stay safe. At $59.00, it is a smart, affordable investment for anyone who prioritizes environmental awareness in their daily life.
